Before you decide
What you actually need, how long it takes and what the work on your side is.
Do you work with clients outside Slovenia?
Yes, across Europe, in English. We’re based in Slovenia, inside the EU and in Central European Time, and everything runs remotely — which is how most of our projects work anyway. If your company has a valid VAT number in another EU member state, we invoice with the reverse charge and no VAT.
What if I already have a website?
Then you probably don’t need a new one. We take over the one you have: collect the logins, inventory the content, run a security review and migrate it to our server. Takeover is a one-off 290 €, then a monthly plan from 27 €/month; maintenance is added from 49 €/month. More about takeovers →
What if the previous supplier won’t co-operate?
This happens often and it isn’t a blocker. We need access to the domain and the hosting; the rest we can recover ourselves.
What if I only need small changes?
You write or call, we do it — usually the same or the next working day. New prices, a new photo, a different phone number, an extra service. Billed separately: 65 €/hour or against a fixed quote approved in advance.
How long does a build take?
A website: 7 working days from the moment we have your content — copy, photos and contact details. An online store: 14 working days, because there is simply more work in the catalogue, the payments and the delivery. If we’re preparing the content, we agree the timing up front. The deadline is in the contract, and if we are late we refund part of the fee.
What if I haven’t got any copy at all?
Most people haven’t. We ask you a few concrete questions about what you do and who for, and we write it. You read it and approve it before anything goes live.
Do I have to edit the site myself?
No. That’s rather the point — that you don’t have to. If you do want your own access, choose the PRESTIGE plan: you get Limonet CMS, while the hosting and the server stay our responsibility.

Price and what’s in it
What the monthly price covers, what it doesn’t, and where the line on changes sits.
What’s included in the monthly price?
The build, hosting, domain and DNS set up for you, an SSL certificate and a secure connection, mailboxes with webmail access, uptime monitoring and basic search optimisation. One invoice instead of five. Maintenance isn’t included — system updates, security checks, backups and speed monitoring are a separate service, from 49 €/month or 490 €/year. Content changes aren’t included either (65 €/hour or a fixed quote).
What isn’t included?
In-depth search optimisation is a separate service from 149 €/month. So are advertising budget, paid third-party licences (special plugins, stock photos, fonts), custom development and larger design overhauls. We tell you all of it up front, not on the invoice.
Where is the line on “ordinary changes”?
Editing text, images, prices and contact details, and adding content to existing pages, are ordinary changes: we do them as they come and bill at 65 €/hour. A new page beyond your plan, a design overhaul, new functionality or a connection to another system is development work. We price that up front — 65 €/hour or a fixed quote — and don’t start until you approve it. You never get an invoice for something you didn’t approve.
Do the prices include VAT?
No, every price on this site excludes VAT. We sell to businesses only. For customers with a valid VAT number in another EU member state, VAT is reverse-charged and we invoice without it; you account for it in your own country. For customers in Slovenia, Slovenian VAT applies.
How do I pay?
By card or by bank transfer (SEPA) against an invoice. The subscription starts when payment clears.
Can the price change?
Not on a rental: the price is fixed for the five-year term. On services with no minimum term (hosting after a purchase, for example) we can change the price with 60 days’ notice; if you don’t agree with the change, you cancel before it takes effect.

Contract, cancellation and ownership
How long the contract runs, what happens if you cancel, and whose all of it is.
How does the contract work?
Without the runaround: a rental is a five-year contract — the same for a website and for an online store. On a website there is no setup fee (we cover the build and recover it through the subscription, which is exactly why it runs five years); on a store there is a one-off setup fee of 790 € on order. Cancel early and the remaining contract value falls due. The minimum term applies to rentals only — hosting, visibility, advertising, maintenance and support have none. If you don’t want a minimum term at all, buy instead: no contract and no subscription, you pay for the build and for hosting (10 €/month or 100 €/year).
What happens at the end, or if I cancel early?
On a rental the contract runs five years; cancel early and the remaining contract value falls due. At the end of the term or on cancellation you get an export of your content and a working website within five working days, at no charge. On a purchase there is no minimum term — you can cancel hosting whenever you like.
What if I want to leave?
You cancel in writing. If the rental contract is still running, the remaining contract value falls due; otherwise there are no conditions at all. You get a full export of the site, the database and the content within five working days, at no charge. We transfer the domain wherever you point us. We don’t hold anyone hostage over logins.
Is the domain mine?
Yes. It’s registered to your company and it stays yours. We only manage it — DNS, SSL and mailboxes are set up and maintained by us.
Is the content mine?
Yes. Text, photos, data and the domain are yours, including the copy we write for you. That’s a clause in the subscription terms, not a marketing promise. On a rented website the Limonet CMS editor stays ours — your site works without it. For online stores there is no such exception, because they run on open-source platforms.
Can I sell the site or move it elsewhere?
You can. You get an export of your content and a working website that you can hand to another supplier or put on your own server. The Limonet CMS editor isn’t part of the export; the site runs without it. If you sell the company, the site goes with it.

Running it, support and results
Who works on your site, how fast we respond, and when movement shows.
Who looks after the site?
We do. Not a reseller, not an offshore partner. Limonet is Aleš Gaber s.p., based in Slovenia — inside the EU. Support is in English, during European business hours. More about us →
How fast do you respond if the site is down?
On the standard plans we start work within 72 hours at the latest. If we exceed that, that month’s fee is refunded. A shorter response time is what priority support (39 €/month) or a maintenance agreement is for, and it’s set out in your quote. For most outages we find out before you do — uptime is monitored automatically.
Which languages do you work in?
English and Slovenian. Building, hosting, maintenance, speed and technical SEO are language-neutral and we do them for any market. Writing — copy, articles, ad text, review responses — we do in English. If your team needs day-to-day support in German, French or Italian, we’re the wrong supplier, and we’d rather say so than promise it.
What if I want more functionality later?
You can move up a plan at any time. For anything unusual — a connection to your accounting software, a courier or an ERP — there’s custom development: a technical plan with a price and a deadline first, the build only after you approve it.
When will I see results from optimisation?
The first report in 30 days. Movement in rankings usually shows in three to six months, depending on the sector. Nobody serious promises you first place.
Will ChatGPT cite me?
Nobody can guarantee that, and anyone who promises it isn’t telling the truth. What we can do is everything that makes it likely: clearly structured content, structured data, consistent company details, and content that actually answers questions. More on that →
Do you build online stores too?
Yes, as a specialist line — PrestaShop and WooCommerce, rented or owned. See the store options.
